2008 Hokie Open: November 15-16 - Salem Civic Center

The First Annual Hokie Open will take place at the Salem Civic Center. The HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION will take place on Saturday, November 15th and the COLLEGE OPEN will take place on Sunday, November 16th. This should be a great event with 10 mats going each day. Any and all contributions to the Hokie Mat Club, inc will greatly support this event. IF anyone is interested in sponsoring this whole event, please contact me and we can put your name on the 2009 Hokie Open! Put this event on your calendar because it will be a great college wrestling event!!

2009 ACC Championships

This year's ACC championship tournament will be right here in Blacksburg @ Cassell Coliseum on Saturday, March 7th. Put this event on your calendar and come support the Hokies as they begin their quest for the 2009 NCAA Championships in St. Louis. Also plan to attend the Hokie Mat Club social immediately following the championship!

NCAA Championship Tickets and Rooms

Plan on attending this year's tournament held on March 19, 20, and 21st in St. Louis! Contact us immediately to reserve tickets and rooms with the Hokie Mat Club. Purchasing within our block of tickets do include the opportunity to book rooms with our group. Be sure to email me soon to reserve tickets and rooms as soon as possible. They will go on a first come-first serve basis. This is the best event in college wrestling!!

Hokie Mat Club, inc.; What is it?

The Hokie Mat Club is a recognized 501c 3 non profit organization for the sole purpose of helping provide opportunities for those involved in the sport of wrestling. Individuals who support the Hokie Mat Club are providing assistance to help pay travel, training and coaching costs associated with the sport of wrestling.

Hokie Mat Club Socials

Be sure to join the team and the coaching staff after EVERY HOME MATCH!! All socials will be held in either the Sound Endzone Stadium room @ Lane Stadium or at Awful Arthur's in Downtown Blacksburg on the corner of Washington and Main. Food and Drink will be provided at each outing. Social memberships for the year vary and you can either pay at the door or register on our website. This is great opportunity to meet the team and hear the coaching staff talk about VT Wrestling!
